We are just traveling the 2 weeks itinerary.
Some information seem to be outdated.
There is no river boat from Nong Khiaw to Luang Prabang anymore and this seems to be the case since late 2013! They built dams on the way to generate electric power.

It would be nice to adapt this in the itinerary as we met some other travelers who also relied on the information published here. We were all quiet disappointed finding out there is no boat trip.

Great itinerary!

I’ve always wanted to visit Laos, but I kept putting it off to visit its neighbouring countries. This year I finally went there and I was surprised how amazing the country is! I loved the nature in Vang Vieng and cafe culture and architecture in Luang Prabang.
