Elina, who wrote this post, has told me that probably May to September would be the best time to go. She also says “During the high season (June-July) the hiking routes are still not that crowded, although it can get really hot. Especially for coastal routes the best time is to go outside of summer months, otherwise it’s just way too stifling. During off-season it’s really cold, there might even be snow.”
